Agent Platform Modernization
Keep your agents. Put a supported platform around them.
Built on NVIDIA OpenShell, the open source runtime for AI agents.
Make it easier to add agents safely and reduce the time spent maintaining homegrown infrastructure. HyperShell assesses limitations and security gaps in your existing agent platform, then works with your team to migrate one or more workloads. Preserve the agent logic that creates value while moving the surrounding harness and sandbox infrastructure onto the HyperShell platform.
Who it helps and the problem
Who this is for
- Organizations already running internal engineering agents on a homegrown harness, sandbox, or both.
- CISOs and CTOs when secure agent adoption is on the executive agenda.
- VPs of Engineering and engineering managers when efficiency and infrastructure maintenance drive the project.
The recurring problem
Adding another agent safely is hard: each one needs its own access decisions, credentials, and review. Meanwhile, the team that built the harness spends its time maintaining it.
Example workflow
Agent Envelopes
- 1
Reusable, composable permission templates for models, tools, and spend
- 2
Administrators create pre-approved envelopes
- 3
Users create and modify agents within those envelopes, self service
- 4
New agents are introduced within permissions that were already defined
How the operating model works
- 1Admin defines a pre-approved envelope
- 2User requests an agent within it
- 3Requests inside the ceiling are provisioned
- 4Exceptions go to the admin inbox
- 5Runs are inspectable step by step
Agent Envelopes are a HyperShell platform capability. They build on NVIDIA OpenShell, an open-source runtime for sandboxed agents and enforceable access policies.
What the assessment covers
Harness and workflow
- State and handoffs
- Integrations
- Recovery and debugging
- Agent behavior
Runtime and sandbox
- Isolation
- Credentials
- Filesystem and network access
- Environment lifecycle
- Enforceable execution boundaries
Changing the sandbox or runtime alone does not fix workflow state or agent logic, so we assess both. We keep the valuable agents and their logic; surrounding tooling may be reused, adapted, or replaced. Compatibility and required changes are assessed per workload. We do not promise unchanged code or automatic migration of every agent.
First engagement and success measures
The first engagement
A paid assessment of the limitations and security gaps in your existing agent platform, followed by a scoped migration of one or more workloads.
We scope the assessment and the migration together before any contractual commitments.
How we measure success
- Time to onboard an additional agent within an approved envelope.
- Platform-maintenance effort.
- Completion of the agreed migration and access-control acceptance checks.
These measures and their target values are agreed per engagement. They are not published results.
What we can show and next step
What we can show today
We can show an administrator creating pre-approved Agent Envelopes, followed by an end user creating an agent that uses them. That demonstrates the supported operating model; it is not a completed customer migration.
Open the administrator walkthroughWhat you get
- Platform
- Build and expand agents within approved Agent Envelopes on the HyperShell platform, built on OpenShell.
- Implementation
- Work with our forward-deployed engineers to build the first workflows in your environment, then modify agents and create new ones independently.
- Support
- Get ongoing support for the underlying platform, including updates and bug fixes.
